In depth

Verdict

The penalised Beyondtemptation has won at Newcastle either side of failing to complete over 2m here in the race Baby Ticker won. The latter returned a narrow-margin winner on that occasion but a couple of poor previous efforts over today’s longer trip fail to boost confidence and THE DELRAY MUNKY is preferred. Iain Jardine’s mare may have a 15lb hike in the weights to contend with but scored by the same amount of lengths over course and distance recently and today’s testing ground is not a problem.
