In depth
Verdict
Doyen Du Bar won a bumper last season and found only one too good when making his debut over timber at Kelso, with Skiddaw only fifth, but ESPOIR DU POITIER makes more appeal. Lucinda Russell’s four-year-old had Lucky Soldier behind in a bumper here last term and probably needed the run when a beaten favourite at Kelso in October. Finn Lough is a likely improver so is worth a market check.
