In depth

Verdict

SWATOW TYPHOON won an Irish point-to-point in December before making all for a debut success under the Donald McCain banner in a bumper on this track last month. He looks to have stamina in abundance so today's trip should prove just right as he makes his hurdling bow. Milano Magic has already proved his stamina having been touched off on the line by Forty Crown over 2m7f at Kelso in December. The winner that day is trained by John Wade who is responsible for Toplander here but the winning point-to-pointer would probably be better suited by further. Talkin Sence has to be respected here as he looks to be progressing despite having run ten times. He won easily at Kelso in December before just failing under a penalty a few days later and the testing conditions are just what he requires. Tikkandemickey looks best of the remainder.
