In depth
Verdict
DIAVOLERIA can complete a hat-trick here, with Something Silver and Aint She The Lady also short-list material. The selection improved on a comfortable Newcastle success when beatign the highly-regarded four-time winner Alegralil at Doncaster last weekend. She has incurred a penalty for that win, but she still looks well handicapped and with no issues over trip and ground we will side with her. Jim Goldie's Something Silver goes well both at this track and over this trip, and he is now back on the sort of mark that he used to do well from when hurdling previously. He acts on most ground, although he would ideally prefer some cut and we'll take him on. Aint She The Lady remains a maiden after nine starts, but she has shown plenty of promise, suggesting that there is prize money to be had here, with going and distance to her liking. Safin has the ability to get involved, though he is out of the handicap and might find a couple too good, while the market should be checked out for a guide to the chance of Delightfully, coming from a yard that does well here and with first-time headgear on. Diavoleria is selected.
