Verdict

Benefit Run is a useful handicapper but is on a long losing run. WHEELBARI, by contrast, boasts a 50 per cent strike-rate over fences and his latest victory at Kelso was another career-best effort. He can complete the hat-trick ahead of Travail D'Orfevre, who seeks a first win over the larger obstacles but was second over course and distance last time. Champ De Gane, another maiden, was also second over track and trip latest but Douglas Talking has had a break since undergoing wind surgery.
