In depth

Verdict

Kingcarrick has returned a losing favourite on both starts since winning at Musselburgh in May while Jewelled Dagger hasn't threatened since scoring at Chepstow in the same month. GRAND DIAMOND could only manage fourth at Musselburgh last time after winning an amateurs race at the same track before that. But Jim Goldie's charge gets another chance in a poor handicap as the step up in trip should suit. Geanie Mac has slipped down the handicap and may prove best of the rest.
