Verdict
Lough Derg Jewel won a Kelso maiden last December but started off in handicaps on a high mark and gradually slipped in the ratings, though hasn't run since April. That could hand the initiative to MAC N CHEESE, who returned from a very long lay-off to win in a canter at Perth. That was over 3m on heavy going and he's been raised a mammoth 17lb but he's probably still better than a 117-rated handicapper and can go in again. Kim Bailey sends Chateau Robin on the long journey from Gloucestershire though the lightly-raced six-year-old showed nothing over timber while Oscar's Prospect might need the run, though did show some potential last season.
