        Verdict

        BYGONES OF BRID is the form pick to land the finale at the expense of newcomers Twentynineblack and Northern Cross. The selection gained his sole victory at Hexham in October having improved from his racecourse debut. He does however have a penalty to overcome which will make life tough but this does look like one of his easiest opportunities to date so is worth staying on the right side of for the time being. Alan Swinbank is always worth following in these races so any market moves for Twentynineblack should be noted while the same can be said about the Howard Johnson contender Northern Cross.
