Verdict
Zaltano made an encouraging hurdles debut when fourth at Wetherby behind Jaboune. He should have improved for the experience and will be hard to beat. Ambushed looks the main danger. He has shown fair form of late in handicap hurdles, notably when second at Kelso last time behind Workaway and a reproduction of that would see him go close. Tony Tie, who was the best of these on the flat, could go close but his stamina is open to question. Rose D'April won a bumper at Catterick last season and is held in fairly high regard by her trainer. A market move could prove significant. Seasquill also got a favourable mention in his trainers "trainer file" in the Racing Post having been a fair performer on the flat in Australia. The remainder that have run look exposed and those that have not run will come on for the experience.
