    LOMU has now won three of four starts having made a winning return over track and trip last month. Raised only 2lb, there should be more to come from Keith Dalgleish’s colt. Be Kool failed to cope with an 8lb hike last time for winning at York earlier and an apprentice’s allowance helps his cause today while the winning run of Luis Vaz De Torres came to an end off today’s mark at Catterick last month. Heir To A Throne and Strong Steps were still both well beaten when runners-up at the same meeting at Chester on their respective latest starts.
