      Verdict

DANDY MAESTRO won at Nottingham then landed a Class 5 Newbury handicap on Friday by seven lengths so coming here under a penalty was the obvious option and he should complete a hat-trick. Cosa Sara lost her maiden tag at the 14th time of asking over the course and distance last month and is just 2lb higher though she's closely matched with Corndavon Lad, who was beaten less than a length into fourth and has also won around here. Otto Oyl chased Elixsoft home at Nottingham and is on the same mark while Pallas Lord found Class 5 company beyond him at Musselburgh after completing a double at this level.
