Verdict
Michael Dods has won both previous renewals of this competitive handicap and the unpredictable course and distance winner Le Chat D'or is preferred to stablemate Finn Class. Stable companions Dolphin Vista and Another Touch look high enough in the weights at present while the lightly raced Nicholas T is preferred to Margaret's Mission of Jim Goldie’s duo. Leicester winner Dream Walker and Doncaster runner-up Mikmak can also figure along with recent course and distance winner Pintura, but a chance is taken on KEYSTROKE (NAP). He made a winning reappearance in a Lincoln trial at Wolverhampton before disappointing in the Spring Mile at Doncaster in April. Off the track since, Jeremy Noseda’s colt may well have improved during the interim and could go close.
