Verdict
GRAN CANARIA QUEEN's winning run came to end at Hamilton last time. But that was in a Class 3 sprint and Tim Easterby's filly is fancied to pick up the winning thread once again back in this lesser company. In contrast, Captain Royale is facing a tougher task as he attempts to land a hat-trick off a higher mark after winning a couple of low grade handicaps. Go Go Green and Salvatore Fury are capable of getting involved and Captain Scooby could figure if there is any more rain. Boris Grigoriev is having only his second start of the season but considering he plummeted down the weights last year, he's worth keeping an eye on in the betting.
