Formwatch
Sheer Genius (IRE) looks the one to beat here. Mark Pitman's charge looked a decent prospect over hurdles this season, winning his first three races. The promising five-year-old lost nothing in defeat when third at Cheltenham in December on ground that was softer than ideal, and he has the beating of Hindiana on a line through Garruth. The going was once again on the sticky side when he finished third over two-and-a-half miles at Uttoxeter. Back in trip this afternoon, he looks to have the measure of Majed, who tackles handicap company for the first time, and Venture To Fly, who looks a long term chasing prospect.
