Verdict

ALL FOR THE BEST was closing on a useful winner over 2m on Tapeta last month. Both of his wins over hurdles have come on ground similar to today’s and Bob Stephens’ five-year-old may well be the one to beat. James King is a talented claimer and takes the ride on Red Infantry, who is only a couple of pounds higher than for his last success. Touch Kick got off the mark in a Taunton maiden last month but this is a better race. Tyrrell's Succes arrives off the back of a victory at Down Royal and remains unexposed while Tantamount is usually thereabouts. Crievehill has been highly tried since winning on heavy going at Lingfield in January so also warrants a mention.
