      Verdict

      WEST LEAKE HARE will need to improve again upped a further 7lb as he bids for a hat-trick. But he may well do so as he had both Chookie Avon and Beckermet well behind in a higher grade race at Catterick last time and Dandy Nicholls' charge gets the nod. Barney McGrew has slipped a few pounds down the weights but never threatened when third at Doncaster and needs a bit more to figure as does Strictly Ballroom, beaten six lengths on the Turf at Lingfield last time.
