Verdict

Edgar Allan Poe failed in a bid for hat-trick when well beaten at off today’s mark at Musselburgh but Wasm drops down in class having finished behind Heaven’s Rock, who runs in the previous division of this, at Haydock. Inglorious was still beaten five lengths when runner-up at Musselburgh while Mischief Managed was due to run at Catterick yesterday. LA SIOUX beat only three rivals when making a winning start at Catterick last month but Richard Fahey’s filly beat a subsequent winner and normal progress should see her in the firing-line once again on her handicap debut.
