        Verdict

        Cross of Lorraine gets the confident vote here over Brigadore and John Keats. The selection ran a blinder last time when chasing home Walnut Grove at Carlisle. That run was noteworthy as he had a dreadful draw that day. He has the plum draw today and should take all the beating. Brigadore is a course and distance winner and he also has a good draw today so it would be no surprise to see him go well, although he was well-held when a beaten favourite at Pontefract last time. John Keats did not get the best of runs when finishing well beaten last time but that was over 5f and he is better over today's trip. Oeuf A La Neige ran well at a price last time and from a good draw could go well again at big odds. However, Cross Of Lorraine has everything in his favour today and can get his head in front.
