      Verdict

      Barwell bids for a hat-trick raised 7lb for his latest win at Haydock while Royal Regent scored over track and trip last month when beating course regular GWORN. But the latter has since reversed running and Mike Smith’s charge looks to have every chance of notching-up his fourth course and distance win of the year with Conor Murtagh’s 7lb allowance helping his cause today. Jamacho has a shout now back on a faster surface but Maulesden May has a bit to find with the selection and Berengaria is preferred.
