        Verdict

        The veteran Briardale made a winning reappearance at this time last year and could figure while the less-exposed Life On The Rocks should be winning this season off his current mark. Alpine Sierra has slipped down the weights and cheekpieces are applied for the first time but BUSBY hasn’t raced on Turf since 2018. A prolific winner on the all-weather subsequently, however, having won off a similar mark at Wolverhampton last month, Philip Kirby’s charge still gets the vote. Tommy G does most of his winning here though has been struggling for form.
