In a pretty weak affair Red Striker just has to put in a clear round to collect here, Broadsmill Rambler and Primitive Rites can fight for second spot. This son of Gunner B has won plenty of races in the past and made a very pleasing return under rules at Wetherby last time. He finished an excellent third behind Denvale in what appeared to be a much better contest than this and he cannot be opposed this afternoon. Boardsmill Rambler was a modest fourth behind Jupiter's Fancy at Musselburgh last month but should come on for the run. Primitive Rites has shown enough in the past and if he gets his jumping back together he should be involved. Of the others Noggler may struggle on the ground and so it appears a relatively simple task for Red Striker who is a confident choice.
