In depth

Verdict

Olly Murphy looks to have found another winning opportunity for BEAU SANCY. The winner of three handicaps last month on good ground, he's up 7lb for a comfortable victory at Fakenham but this doesn't look the toughest of races and he should be capable of handling softer conditions. Mac N Cheese, three times a winner over hurdles, has only had two starts over fences, finishing a close third in one and falling when going well in the other. He can do well over the bigger obstacles this season and has to be respected. Geronimo looks a staying type who improved with racing over hurdles despite finishing runner-up four times and he'll be much better for his chasing debut at Hexham while Buffalo Ballet has never been out of the first four in six starts over fences on this track.
