Verdict

CATHAYENSIS arrives on the back of an easy win at Haydock and Oliver Stammers was aboard when she won at Newcastle earlier. Graces Quest won stylishly at Musselburgh and delivered in a style that suggested there could be more to come while Royal Countess has won off a 2lb higher mark in the past and cannot be totally dismissed. Chinese Spirit was unconsidered in the betting when prevailing at Carlisle in an apprentices’ contest and escapes a penalty with his jockey can claiming his full allowance today.
