Verdict
With the stalls on the far side, low numbers could have the advantage. A chance is taken with Bryan McMahon's Look Here Now, who is well placed in stall three. Although he is not as good as he once was, he is still capable as he showed when winning on the All-Weather surface at Southwell. He is only 4lb higher here and will be given every assistance by Darryll Holland. Plenty of others in with a chance including Amused, who was beaten by the draw at Ponterfract and the well handicapped Friar Tuck, who, at his best has won off a mark of 95, but as he hasn't won for over two years, he can now run off a mark of 64. Compton Arrow can prove the pick of Dandy Nicholl's pair, while last years winning stable is represented by Inchcoonan, who would have every chance if she could reproduce her latest effort behind Curfew at Newmarket, although she has been done no favours by the draw.
