In depth

Verdict

Picks Pinta has been going well at a similar level though he's never won over a trip this far. Harbour Patrol gave notice of an imminent victory when runner-up here then duly obliged at Chepstow, though a 7lb rise looks harsh. The lightly-raced Fortuities has been racing over further without really looking like winning and Champion Harbour's only victory to date was on the Tapeta at Newcastle while Stardrifter hasn't won for two years. INSURPLUS is still a maiden but has dropped to a fair mark and ran his best race so far when staying on over 6f here last week. He looks to have as good a chance as any in what looks a tricky low-grade handicap.
