VEDETTARIAT won his only start between the flags and scored twice over hurdles. He was well beaten at Fairyhouse last month but makes his chasing debut in what looks a modest contest and should make a successful start. Fort Smith can't get his head in from where it matters and was an expensive failure over hurdles but he did nothing wrong on his chasing bow behind a couple of decent performers at Fairyhouse and looks the one to take advantage if the selection doesn't prove up to the task. Triplets Joy has won a point-to-point and twice been successful over hurdles. She's shown plenty of ability in her two starts over fences and the mares' allowance should aid her cause. Flaming Dawn hasn't jumped well so far over fences but he has shown potential and could prove the pick of the remainder.
