Verdict
Sharjah has been running well on the Flat and landed a Roscommon maiden hurdle at this time a year ago but was well beaten by Lindenhurst on his next start at Gowran. That winner is penalised here but scored on the level at Bellewstown last month and has to be considered. The Plan Man hasn't had much experience though this is tougher than the races he's been contesting but Shutter Island is a progressive hurdler who should go well despite a poor run on the Flat at Galway when strongly fancied. Erlkonig easily landed a Tipperary maiden and hasn't been disgraced in better company but this can go to CAPE GLORY. Gordon Elliott's charge found 2m6f much too far in a Galway handicap but with a strong pace likely his stamina can come into play and Kevin Sexton's claim is a bonus.
