In depth

Verdict

Bestrella had been threatening to win before landing a Dundalk maiden last weekend. Ben Coen can't use his claim here so this is a more difficult task. Capel At Dawn went up 10lb for an easy victory at Naas and weakened quickly behind stable companion Gee Ex at the Curragh next time. Another from the yard, CALIDUS MIRABILIS, a dual Polytrack winner early this year, has gone up 6lb for being beaten a neck by Wujood at Dundalk but his rider can claim 4lb and he can get back on the winning trail. Belgoprince scored on the all-weather in France and has joined Tony Martin while Celtic Crown ran easily her best race to date at Killarney on Wednesday and can run from the same mark.
