Train Of Thought was involved in that farce of a race won by Writers Block at Leopardstown then found Royal Irish Hussar much too good at Killarney last week. Both races were over 1m6f and this is a massive drop in trip. Lake Nova has been looking very one-paced on fast ground after a fair debut on soft going at Naas and may have to wait for some rain. PASTICHES finished a close second to Daymooma over the course and distance last month and ran well enough in a decent maiden won by Violet Hour at Naas to suggest she's up to losing her maiden tag here. Danseur De Feu appeared to improve when runner-up to Cocktail Hour at Killarney last week and could prove the main threat.
