Verdict

Seefood would have gained his first success over fences but for falling at the last at Kilbeggan in July. He made amends on a return visit last month and has had two subsequent runs over timber. He should make further progress and will be difficult to beat but ROUGH JUSTICE may have his measure. Willie Mullins' charge, a winning bumper and point-to-pointer, landed a maiden hurdle at Sligo last month then made a successful debut over fences over this course and distance. This is a much stiffer task but he should be up to it and gets the vote. Our Ned easily landed a mares' beginners' chase at Limerick in July but hasn't done quite so well in two subsequent starts and along with the remaining trio will need to improve to trouble the principals.
