Ted Dolly was caught in the dying strides by The Great Shanghai at Cork after looking a certain winner when taking the lead at the second last. He looks certain to be in the shake-up again but has to concede weight all round and MALLOWNEY could have his measure. He's been running well enough over longer trips and with a strong pace likely should be staying on better than most at the finish. Captain Luke has shown a bit of promise between the flags and ran very well over hurdles at Cork last time when a close fourth in a big field. That was over 3m however and this trip looks too short. The remainder will need to improve to take a hand.
