In depth

Verdict

Plenty of these arrive in very good form including Band Of Blood, who had been competing at a high level before a very impressive victory at Cork. A massive 11lb rise is more than halved by his rider so another big run is expected. BARESI has gone up 13lb over fences after a facile success at Limerick so it's no surprise to see him back over hurdles. He was in winning form over the smaller obstacles at the backend of last year and can complete a double. Courtncatcher will have needed last month's run after a long break and he was in fine form for most of last summer so has to be respected while Tony Martin's acquisition from France Vive La France should be winning soon. Kilcarry Bridge was left clear by a faller at the second last when making all at Sligo though that was over the minimum trip and Go Paddy Go may prove more of a threat after just failing to concede 11lb to Hareth at Limerick.
