Verdict

Authorizo began his career over hurdles by beating a big field in a Fairyhouse maiden and he's been operating at Grade level subsequently. He'll find this more to his liking though stable companion Coolongolook may have more scope. A winner on the Flat for Luca Cumani, he was impressive over 2m3f at Downpatrick and dropping back in trip isn't a concern. Flindt made a successful hurdling debut at Kilbeggan and couldn't handle better company and an extra 3f on a return visit but FOVEROS looks the one to beat. Willie Mullins' charge, a winner at Longchamp just over a year ago, returned after a long break to gain a facile victory on his hurdling bow at Cork and looks destined for better things. Morosini looks the main threat as he made his hurdling debut in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse and did superbly to chase home Way Back Home with Authorizo back in third.
