In depth

Verdict

Clondaw Warrior made an impressive start over hurdles when beating Jimjim Mac Cool at Limerick but faces a stiffer test off levels against FLYCORN. He found Won In The Dark too strong over this trip at Kilbeggan but the winner is a useful performer on his day. Wolf Hall was well beaten in that Kilbeggan event and though Mickelson won't mind the going the only time he ran beyond 2m he was beaten a long way at Down Royal. Empire Theatre doesn't quite look up to this and Doctor Deejay doesn't win often enough.
