Verdict

Another tough race here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the main protagonists look to be Cheer Us On, Media Man and Willing Weasel and the narrow vote is given to Cheer Us On. The selection was a fair second behind Great Jane last time out. That form looks solid in the context of this race and off what remains a fair mark despite top weight he looks the one to be on. Media Man rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so he can not be put forward with much confidence. Willing Weasel showed improve form to be fourth behind Our Jim, may be suited by the drop in trip and with his yard in form should be watched in the market. Inn For The Dancer is another worthy of respect as he won well last time when beating Ashwell Lad and despite rising in the weights he has definite place claims. Monroe Gold won well over hurdles last time out and if taking to fences could go well off what looks a lenient mark but in a race where the market may well tell all for the winner we are happy to return to Cheer Us On who ran so well last time out.
