In depth

Verdict

Ice 'N' Easy was back to something like his best when running out a comfortable Southwell scorer last month but has plenty on his plate here under a 7lb penalty for that success. Railway Dillon is best watched for the time being but Kykate and Sure Thing look likely sorts, especially the latter if forgiven a disappointing performance last time at Exeter. He would go very close on the evidence of previous consistent efforts but we're siding with the in-form TOKYO JAVILEX. He's gone up 19lb in completing a spring hat-trick but does give the impression that he only just does enough. Hopefully he can make it four in a row under regular pilot Sam Twiston-Davies.
