Verdict
A rather disappointing turn out for the decent prize money on offer and Lazy But Lively is taken to come out on top. The seven-year-old showed progressive form over timber last season with back-to-back victories over this trip at Hexham and Ayr and looks capable of adding to his tally following a decent reappearance when runner-up at Kelso in November. The son of Supreme Leader hasn't been seen in public since but clearly goes well fresh and should prove hard to beat. Irish challenger Samasakhan is hard to assess but has been generally been competing at a higher level and should make his presence. Darina's Boy looked good when landing a Plumpton novice event in January but raced like a non-stayer over this trip next time while Ludere has been struggling of late and faces no easy task from out of the handicap.
