    Verdict

DIOCLES found Highland Lodge too good on his hurdling debut at Haydock but Emma Lavelle's charge is a decent novice and Donald McCain's bumper winner faces nothing of that calibre here. He should get off the mark over timber, though it will be interesting to see how the once-raced Floreat copes with the switch to hurdles. McCain also runs Ten Ace, who probably needed his run in a bumper here last month, though it's difficult to see him troubling his stablemate.
