In depth

Verdict

Barry Geraghty has a tremendous book of rides today and SKINT is definitely amongst the best of them. The winner of a Stratford bumper and a novice hurdle at Wincanton over two miles, he looked all over the winner when sent over 2m5f at Plumpton last time but got outstayed by Jetnova. This shorter trip will suit and he looked as though the experience would do him good. Malin Bay appeared to be suited by stepping up to 2m5f at Perth in May so it's a surprise to see him back over today's trip and he may get outpaced. Kayfton Pete has been looking one-paced and should do better over further while Dunowen Point has done well in bumpers but may need the experience on his hurdling debut. Tahiti Pearl showed his first sign of form over timber at Haydock and can get involved in the scrap for a place.
