        Verdict

        Gardiners Hill grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat at Hereford last week to add a hurdles success to his five wins over fences but will need more to defy a penalty. TRANSPENNINE STAR has been threatening to win over hurdles for a while and this may be his chance with Jonjo O’Neill Junior taking off 5lb. Some Can Dance has placed the last twice and looks a threat while Paddys Runner has tumbled down the weights and is tried in blinkers. Treasure Dillon will appreciate the step up in trip but Moss On The Mill is best watched at present.
