Verdict
Investment Affair would be a somewhat ironic winner of this contest given his name but may prove to be the safest conveyance for our funds. Kinkeel could be the one to benefit if Investment Affair fails to stay up. Donald McCain is enjoying a decent run of form at present and appears to have found a decent opening for his chasing debutant. He showed a fair level of form over hurdles in 2004 but has had just two starts since then, finishing well beaten on both occasions. That's hardly a ringing endorsement but his adversaries are not fearsome. Billesey has failed to complete in four of his five starts since winning a bumper and was pulled up on his return from two years off the track. Iris's Flyer has fared a little better but has been beaten around forty lengths on each of his two chase starts. He has jumped round though and another faultless display could be enough to put him in contention. Kinkeel has been placed eight times in twenty seven chase starts and it's hard to imagine him finding a better opportunity to gain that elusive success but we'll stick with Investment Affair.
