In depth
Verdict
Glengarra, Meggie's Lad and Baie des Singes are three against the field in his wide open novices chase and the vote is given to Glengarra. The selection was a good second behind Gazump in a similar contest last time out and with this longer trip sure to suit he need only run up to that mark to score. Meggie's Lad rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind She;s Our Native. However he has had plenty of chances without taking one and place claims looks the best he can hope for again. Baie des Singes is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Polar Gunner as thatb form looks rock solid in the context of this race but he continues to be let down by his jumping and for that reason he is opposed. Pollensa Bay is another with place claims on his best form but connetctions seem to be struggling to find his optimum trip and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Gerrard is another that has shown a modicum of ability and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Glengarra.
