Verdict

Waldorf Salad ended last season with a victory at Chepstow and there may well be more to come from him. Subtle Grey is 6lb higher than his earlier success at Carlisle while Kaki De La Pree won a novice chase at Worcester in June. Willoughby Hedge scored at Doncaster in February and has gone well fresh before but Ballyboker Breeze was still beaten a distance when second at Kelso last time. GONALSTON CLOUD (NAP) was pulled-up in heavy ground on his comeback but was second in a Class 2 handicap before that and Nick Kent’s charge gets the vote to bounce back here and continue last year’s good progress.
