In depth
Verdict
Shamsan has been in good form of late and was a good second on his chasing debut behind Helvetius at Newton Abbot he will have learnt from the experience and will be hard to beat. Mount Gay was a point-to-point winner prior to winning over regulation fences at Market Rasen he jumped and travelled well on that occasion and should go well. Greg's Way was a good winner at Perth last time out over two miles and he should relish this extra distance. The Manse Brae is also one to consider ion his chase debut he won his last two hurdle races in good style and if he takes to the fences he will not be far away. The remainder need to improve to score.
