Verdict

Kauto Relko has experience on his side and responded to blinkers to win quite cosily over C&D four weeks ago. He has a penalty now, however, and it remains to be seen if the headgear will work a second time on this quirky individual. GOLDEN CALL won three times over hurdles last season, his last two starts coming against smart opposition. A winning pointer, the switch to fences shouldn't be a problem and he can make a winning start to his chase career. Mark Twain has been placed in all three starts over the larger obstacles and should find a race soon but winning hurdler Lava Lamp isn't very big and probably best watched on this occasion.
