      Verdict

      A race packed with disappointing types. Scartare has placed 11 times over fences but is now 0-14. Joly Maker has won over fences and off a 3lb higher mark but he appears to be going backwards. Hurricane Vic looks vulnerable again off his current mark and there are questions to answer for both Kapsize and No Such Number. OSCAR MAGUIRE was far too keen at Southwell last month. He’ll need to settle better here but the drop in trip may help and he has more scope than his rivals. Armattiekan is also worth noting in first-time blinkers.
