Verdict

For Jim has won around here and is just a pound higher than when scoring at Uttoxeter in July. Robeam keeps placing but is 11lb higher than when last successful whereas Lily Glitters is only 3lb higher than when justifying favouritism in a mares’ handicap at Ludlow in April. HERES COMES HENRY is also still on a fair mark and, in the hope that a wind operation has had the desired effect, Stuart Edmunds’ five-year-old gets a tentative vote ahead of the unexposed maidens Betterforeveryone and Prince Des Fichaux.
