      Verdict

BANDSMAN was six lengths clear jumping the last in the Listed Summer Cup at Uttoxeter earlier this month but he weakened on the run-in and was caught close home. Fourth Padleyourowncanoe is 2lb better off but this shorter trip should suit Dan Skelton’s charge more and he can get back to winning ways. Imada was a progressive novice the season before last but pulled up on his only start last season so is best watched. Red Giant may also need this but Potterman was hampered in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen and will enjoy this longer distance. Soupy Soups could also figure if in the mood.
