    Verdict

STEADY THE SHIP bolted up at Southwell earlier in the year and is always a dangerous customer when allowed the luxury of an easy lead upfront. That said, he was behind Shareef Star at Newton Abbot as Peter Bowen’s charge was able to pick him off readily close home. Bob's Bar also likes to be handy and connections keep faith with Theo Gillard following the conditional rider’s victory aboard the six-year-old at Worcester. Alex Hales is doing well with his runners at present and Sea Prince demonstrated over hurdles last term that he has no issues whatsoever with a fast surface.
