Verdict

There are some powerful NH yards represented in this bumper but Nicky Henderson’s AT POETS CROSS will be fancied to go one better than at Lingfield in February when he was giving the winner 22lb. Jockey bookings suggest Stratford third Minella Plus is preferred to Creative Control but Surtitle has more scope being by Presenting out of an Oscar mare so bred for jumping. Mr Tristar’s dam won three times over hurdles and he is also worth a market check.
